Team Lead – Oracle HCM Technical Consultant
Location: Telangana, India
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 8+ years ERP | 4+ years Oracle HCM Cloud
Work Model: Hybrid (with US overlap hours)
Key Expertise: Oracle HCM Cloud Technical, Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, VBS, Integrations
Key Responsibilities
- Handle production support including AMS ticketing, bug fixing, issue management, upgrades testing, and change management.
- Interact with offshore/onshore teams for Oracle HCM Cloud implementation and support.
- Manage 8+ years of ERP implementation experience, with 4+ years hands-on Oracle HCM functional experience (any two modules like Core HR, Learning, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, OTL).
- Provide technical expertise across 2+ Oracle HCM Cloud modules: Core HR, OTL, Recruiting, Learning, Benefits, Performance, Goals, Talent.
- Manage production tickets, patch testing, change requests, requirement analysis, and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with client teams (3–4 hrs US time zone overlap).
- Work on configurations, bug fixes, quarterly patch testing, and QA before deployments.
- Support system administration/security: roles, personas, permissions, patch management, POD management, risk management, and configuration.
- Perform unit testing, stage scenarios, and document results for all technical objects.
- Develop runbooks, resolve technical issues, and guide technical teams.
Essential Skills
- 2+ full lifecycle Oracle HCM implementations as Technical Lead.
- Strong experience in at least two HCM modules: Core HR, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Goals, Absence, Succession, HR Helpdesk, Talent Review, Onboarding, Learning.
- Experience in Fast Formulas, HCM Data Loader (HDL), Payroll Batch Loader, HCM Spreadsheet Loader, and custom role development.
- Expertise in BI Publisher, RTF/e-text templates, scheduling, bursting, and migration.
- Mandatory Visual Builder Studio (VBS) experience – page extensions, migrations.
- Strong experience in HCM Extracts, OTBI, Analysis Dashboard.
- Knowledge of transformation formulas and automating inbound loads using HDL.
- Experience with sysadmin activities, migrations, change management, and QA processes.
- Ability to work late-night IST hours when required for US overlap.
- Excellent communication and client handling skills.
