Job Overview:
We are seeking a competent and proactive Team Member – Maintenance to ensure production equipment operates at peak efficiency and within defined specifications. The role involves equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, cost analysis, spare management, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a cGMP-regulated environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to maintain equipment reliability and support plant performance goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all production equipment—including media systems, harvest units, bioreactors, chromatography units, mixed bed systems, SSMB, polish bed systems, multiple-effect evaporators, and spray dryers—operate within vendor-specified tolerances.
  • Recommend improvements or replacements of existing equipment to enhance operations and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Conduct cost analysis for new equipment proposals and provide recommendations to the Head of Plant Operations.
  • Develop performance standards and objectives for maintenance projects to meet departmental and corporate targets.
  • Manage and maintain adequate stock of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and ensure proper cost control within the department.
  • Support and enforce GMP guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory compliance within the plant.

Critical Success Factors:

  • Hands-on experience with GMP, HACCP, and Safety compliance.
  • Practical knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Leader Standard Work methodologies.
  • Strong technical expertise in vacuum pumps, motors, pumps, blowers, fans, and fabrication.

Essential Attributes:

  • Strong troubleshooting and technical evaluation skills.
  • Vendor management and commercial assessment capability.
  • Experience in breakdown maintenance processes.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of SAP.
