About The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Drive cross-functional, projects or initiatives; bring together important stakeholders and help make decisions.
  • Participate in and enable quarterly planning.
  • Tabulate, organize, and present updates across various programs at various levels of granularity (on-demand, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Diligently annotate and record minutes and outcomes of project reviews, check-ins, and other types of program reviews.
  • Build meaningful relationships with all relevant stakeholders across the organization.
  • Participate in / Conduct regular meetings, stand-ups, and project review cadence sessions.
  • Understand in detail how specific tasks for a particular project are decomposed and how they are interconnected and impact timelines and outcomes.
  • Identify blockers and issues proactively with a goal of escalating appropriately with a strong bias for action.
  • Design and maintain detailed trackers and metrics across multiple projects and programs.
  • Identify and plan for dependencies and contingencies across projects and interconnected programs.
  • Ensure rigorous and diligent follow-ups across all projects and programs.
  • Perform RCAs and assist project teams with various post-project rituals such as documentation and post-mortems.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience as a Program Manager.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Engineering + Graduate Business Degree (MBA or equivalent).
  • Very well developed project management skills and a strong understanding of agile methodologies, ideally supported by relevant certifications and coursework.
  • Proficiency with toolchains and concepts like JIRA, Trello, Smartsheets, OKR management software, Kanban, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to corral people needed to solve a problem rapidly.
  • Clear thought process and ability to communicate very competently.
  • Detail orientation (Dot the I’s and Cross the T’s)Resilience, humility, and the ability to thrive with feedback.
  • Analytical orientation with the ability to use data to answer questions and solve problems.
  • Strong relationship management skills – able to influence and manage the expectations of senior executives, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, approachable, and open-minded with an ability to work across cultures and geographies.
  • Hands-on with the ability to cope with a fast-paced work environment with constantly changing priorities and timelines.
