Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Technical Support Engineer II to work with global enterprise brands. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting abilities, experience supporting B2B customers, and a passion for solving complex cybersecurity and networking problems. You will work closely with customers and internal teams on Akamai’s Guardicore Segmentation and Zero Trust security products.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and act as a trusted advisor for enterprise customers.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to Guardicore Segmentation and Zero Trust products.
- Lead technical investigations and collaborate with internal engineering teams to drive timely resolutions.
- Analyze recurring issues and recommend preventive solutions.
- Gain deep expertise in Akamai’s security platforms and tools.
- Manage support cases with urgency while ensuring high-quality customer service.
- Use tools, processes, and product knowledge to deliver accurate and timely solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of technical support or similar experience.
- Strong knowledge of Linux OS (mandatory).
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, virtualization, and cloud environments.
- Experience providing technical support to B2B customers.
- Basic scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with enterprise or cybersecurity products.
- Understanding of Zero Trust security concepts.
