Technical Support Engineer II

Location: India (Remote)

Job Type:  Full-Time

Experience Required: 5+ Years

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering (or equivalent)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Technical Support Engineer II to work with global enterprise brands. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting abilities, experience supporting B2B customers, and a passion for solving complex cybersecurity and networking problems. You will work closely with customers and internal teams on Akamai’s Guardicore Segmentation and Zero Trust security products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and act as a trusted advisor for enterprise customers.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to Guardicore Segmentation and Zero Trust products.
  • Lead technical investigations and collaborate with internal engineering teams to drive timely resolutions.
  • Analyze recurring issues and recommend preventive solutions.
  • Gain deep expertise in Akamai’s security platforms and tools.
  • Manage support cases with urgency while ensuring high-quality customer service.
  • Use tools, processes, and product knowledge to deliver accurate and timely solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of technical support or similar experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux OS (mandatory).
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals, virtualization, and cloud environments.
  • Experience providing technical support to B2B customers.
  • Basic scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with enterprise or cybersecurity products.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust security concepts.
