Salary Range: ₹9,00,000 – ₹11,00,000
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled iOS Developer with strong expertise in Swift and hands-on experience developing OTT and media player applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining iOS applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless integration with backend services.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Design, build, and maintain reliable and reusable Swift code.
- Ensure best possible performance, responsiveness, and quality of applications.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust iOS applications.
Essential Skills
- 6–10 years of experience in iOS mobile application development.
- Strong proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and iOS SDK.
- Experience working with MVVM design pattern.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for backend integration.
- Strong knowledge of iOS UI design principles and best practices.
- Hands-on experience in offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Proficient with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of Apple design principles and interface guidelines.
- Experience with push notifications, memory management, and cloud messaging APIs.
iOS Player (AVPlayer) Skills
- Proven expertise in AVPlayer and AVPlayerLayer.
- Ability to create custom player controls (Play, Pause, FF, RW, Subtitles, Audio/Video track selection, Offline Downloads).
- Strong knowledge of DRM configurations, HLS streaming, and adaptive live streaming.
- Familiarity with IMA SDKs for ad insertion and media trailer/m3u8 parsing.
- Experience with downloading DRM and non-DRM videos (4K, 1080p, etc.) to local storage.
