Job Overview
Our client is looking for a passionate and student-focused Academic Counselor to guide learners in selecting suitable educational programs aligned with their career goals and interests. The role involves one-on-one counseling, lead follow-up, and ensuring a seamless enrollment experience in a fast-growing EdTech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students, working professionals, and parents on suitable learning programs.
- Conduct detailed needs assessments to align academic interests with career aspirations.
- Follow up on inquiries through phone, email, and virtual meetings to drive enrollments.
- Provide accurate information about course structure, duration, fees, and outcomes.
- Stay up to date with EdTech products, new programs, and market trends.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to meet enrollment targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all student interactions and progress in CRM tools.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and provide post-enrollment support to learners.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (Psychology preferred).
- Minimum 6 months of experience in academic counseling or EdTech sales.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and virtual communication platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
