Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Amazon Connect Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based contact center solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in AWS services, especially Amazon Connect, and the ability to implement scalable, automated, and reliable contact center workflows. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, product owners, and platform squads to deliver high-impact features and operational enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to intake requests from contact center business units based on priorities defined by the Product Owner.
  • Deliver assigned tasks aligned with operational urgencies and platform squad goals.
  • Design, develop, and maintain AWS-based solutions using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, Amazon Connect, Lex, and Polly.
  • Monitor application and platform performance using AWS CloudWatch, ensuring high availability and quick issue resolution.
  • Implement and update infrastructure changes using AWS CDK following best practices.
  • Collaborate across engineering squads to support shared platform enhancements and integrations.
  • Track work progress, maintain documentation, and provide consistent updates through established workflows and tools.
