Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Palantir Lead/Senior Developer to design, develop, and implement advanced data engineering solutions using Palantir Foundry. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to deliver scalable data solutions that empower business decision-making.

You’ll be responsible for end-to-end solution delivery—from architecture to deployment—while mentoring developers and collaborating with business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of solutions on Palantir Foundry, including data integration, transformation, ontology modeling, and workshop development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert them into scalable data architectures.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines, workflows, and validation frameworks for performance and scalability.
  • Integrate Palantir Foundry with external systems such as Snowflake and APIs for seamless data flow.
  • Ensure solutions comply with enterprise data governance and security standards.
  • Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in development and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to data ingestion, transformation, and performance tuning.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, processes, and technical decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of total experience in Data Engineering or Analytics, including 5+ years with Palantir Foundry.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern ETL/ELT pipeline development.
  • Strong expertise in ontology modeling, workshop applications, and Foundry APIs.
  • Sound understanding of data governance, data quality, and integration best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, AWS, or Azure.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven track record in leading technical teams and delivering large-scale enterprise data projects.
