OptM is seeking a highly experienced Dev Test Engineer with deep expertise in software testing methodologies and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will lead the testing lifecycle for complex enterprise-grade solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical, analytical, and leadership skills, capable of working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional global teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, design, and execute functional, system, integration, and automation tests for enterprise-scale applications.
- Develop and implement effective testing strategies to ensure software quality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
- Guide and mentor team members on testing processes, automation tools, and QA best practices.
- Manage testing activities within Agile/Scrum methodologies using Jira and Confluence.
- Maintain detailed test documentation, reports, and metrics for leadership and stakeholders.
- Validate middleware and integration solutions, preferably within clinical or enterprise systems.
- Identify and drive automation opportunities to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Proactively handle ambiguous requirements and explore innovative testing technologies.
- Work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes under minimal supervision.
Key Skills & Expertise
- Strong foundation in software testing principles, QA methodologies, and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and continuous integration tools.
- Proven leadership in Agile/Scrum testing environments.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and test management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
- Strong understanding of middleware validation and system integrations.
- Experience mentoring and guiding QA teams.
