About the Role

As a Lead, you will drive inventory health and instock availability across Flipkart Minutes’ dark store network. Your core responsibility is to ensure customers always find what they are looking for by maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing stock-outs, and improving forecasting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive High Instock Availability: Ensure product availability for assigned categories by maintaining optimal inventory levels and reducing stock-outs.
  • Develop Robust Inventory Processes: Design, implement, and refine scalable processes to manage inventory flow from fulfillment centers to dark stores, including replenishment models and inventory norms (min/max levels).
  • Optimize Inventory Efficiency: Identify and analyze inventory loss buckets (spoilage, damage, pilferage), and drive initiatives to reduce wastage and improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Product, Tech, and Business Finance teams to execute strategic initiatives.

Flipkart Minutes is a hyper-local delivery service that brings thousands of products to customers’ doorsteps in minutes. The team operates a dense network of dark stores, and inventory accuracy is critical to customer satisfaction and operational success.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 1–4 years in inventory, supply chain, or operations analytics roles.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of R or Python is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Curiosity and proactive problem-solving approach to optimize inventory and reduce supply chain costs.
