Job Description

The Quality Inspection and Testing Workforce professional will play a critical role in ensuring that all incoming materials and components meet the required quality standards. This role involves conducting inspections, preparing reports, verifying documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, technically sound, and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all operational activities comply with company safety, health, and environmental management regulations.
  • Plan and conduct Incoming Material Inspections using Acceptance Quality Level (AQL) standards.
  • Prepare detailed Inspection Reports in the prescribed format based on engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Verify supplier inspection reports and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform hands-on inspection using Monitoring and Measuring Equipment/Resources such as:
  • Digital Caliper
  • Digital Micrometer
  • Digital Height Gauge
  • Attribute-type Gauges
  • Interpret engineering drawings and select appropriate measurement tools to validate item conformity.
  • Maintain records, follow inspection procedures, and escalate non-conformities as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (added advantage).
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings and measurement techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with basic measuring instruments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.E / B.Tech / Diploma / ITI / Any Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Prior experience in Quality Inspection or manufacturing environment preferred (optional to keep).
