About the Role:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer experienced in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium, TestSigma, Playwright, and AI-driven testing tools. This role involves designing, executing, and optimizing test strategies for high-quality software delivery across various platforms and environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API-based applications.
  • Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, TestSigma, and Playwright.
  • Perform API testing using SOAPUI, RIT, and AXE.
  • Validate data integrity and perform database testing with strong SQL queries.
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and manage version control with GitHub.
  • Utilize test management tools like Jira and qTest to plan, track, and report testing progress.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Mentor junior testers and promote quality engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium, TestSigma, Playwright, and similar tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL for database validation.
  • Experience in API testing using SOAPUI, RIT, AXE, or equivalent tools.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and version control systems (GitHub).
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira and qTest.
  • Ability to write clean, reusable, and modular automation code.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines.
