About the Role

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, configuring, and maintaining Keysight’s ServiceNow platform. You will lead initiatives across multiple ITSM processes, ensuring that ServiceNow solutions meet evolving business requirements and deliver a seamless IT service experience. This position involves hands-on configuration, system design, custom development, and integration with other enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow modules (Incident, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB, etc.)
• Build and maintain custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine.
• Develop ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, XML, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
• Create and manage Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Workflows, ACLs, Catalog Items, and related configurations.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems such as Active Directory, SCCM, Salesforce, Jira, and SSO platforms using REST, SOAP, JDBC, or Integration Hub.
• Manage and optimize system updates, configuration issues, and process changes.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define, implement, and enhance ITSM processes.
• Participate in project implementations as a technical lead or team member, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Provide technical mentorship and maintain documentation of system configurations and integrations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementation, configuration, and development across ITSM and CMDB modules.
• Proven experience in global ServiceNow implementations (2–3 full cycles).
• Expertise in ServiceNow integration with on-premise and SaaS applications using Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, Mulesoft, or similar platforms.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in JavaScript, JellyScript, Python, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• ServiceNow Certifications (System Administrator, Developer, Implementation Specialist) are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building custom ServiceNow applications using App Engine.
• Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Dashboards, Virtual Agent, and Reporting.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and enterprise integrations.
